i must say i am deeply disappointed with the quality of the samosas in RI. Bukhara is still, and will allways be, my true love. Dinner with the extended massart family (plus associated hangers-on and inlaws from other locales) was pretty darn uplifting, chatting with Teegan on one side and the legendary Bryon P. on the other. Kerri kept making eyes at me from across the way, implying that I ought to behave and hissing “colorado” under her breath. I was behaving (I love colorado more than anything), but now I see why he’s so legendary. The funny thing about circles of friends, or in this case large uncongrous blobby polygons of friends, is that there is always someone on the other side at six degrees of separation who you somehow miss out on. Until one night you find yourself offering one another sips of your concoctions, conversing about the merits of junk, and hiding out in the corner of a mob picking out people’s stories. A co-conspirator and soft spoken intellect. Now i see why the ladies grinned whenever his name came up. Oh, behave!

I hope Kerri is alright. She was pretty tweaky throughout, so she had better get some sleepies. Hear that? Sleepies! I think tomorrow night (tonight?) we are going to the beach to cause trouble. A possibility of developing conspiracies, sand in my shoes, and ocean sounds. Goodnight.
