  • In my E.

Last night i stayed up way past my bedtime and danced my soul away to some fairly choice dnb at Elements. I had been to the phoe landing many a time before, and always found it intriguing and cosy…it tends to suit my moods….but this time I found myself deep in the thick of sound and groove and bliss. Jared lead me to the edge of the empty dance floor and we perched there, bopping along to the deep whump of the sub. As soon as he wandered off for some fresh air (Wha?… *gesture wildly* FRESH AIR! ….Wha?!? …OuT SIDE! …’k! *nod, grin*) I was inexcorably and irretrievably sucked into the thick of it.  It was like pistachio pudding, only thrumpier, and less green. But still very very tasty. I met some new comrades, was lead along a merry game of dance floor king fu; I sashayed around the circle, made goofy faces at people, and promised my new friends i’d be back again and again. I couldn’t believe the moves these kids had…it was sketch and tai chi and samba and breakneck breakdance all smeared into one fly dance vibe. This kid who could REALLY move, mmm…. gave me a big hug, kissed my hand, and sent me spinning into the center of the ring, woohoo! By the time my philosophical sound guide returned to me, cig in hand by the edge of the crowd,  i knew was totally addicted. Ha HA, sorry Jared. Don’t mean to cramp your style, but i’m commandeering your thursday night thing. Bwa ha ha…MORE NOISE FOR ME!!
