Proof from Pisangue Island!
SEE? I told you.
Transmissions from Japan have landed, note the new module link on the side to see Jonny's misadventures in exotic places...or:
Did you ever build one of those tent forts when you were a kid, you know, with some sheets and blankets and a couple of unwitting chairs? And then you hide in it all day and eat snackies and then get all sugar high and crash around until your mum yowls at you to cut it out and then whole tent thing falls apart and you get all tangled up in it?
That's what this thing feels like, but it just keeps getting bigger.
More Kid-Art

Some tiki sculptures...nice pants, Mister rectangle-head.

"To bark, or not to bark?" Note the chaise lounge with the wine glass. So sophisticated.

This one just rocks my photographic world. The kid also happens to be a computer genius.

A self portrait of sorts. E. says, "Maybe he's different, like i am."

The wonder zoo. Please note the emu who is doing a pee-pee dance, and the porcupine with bed-head.
LOOKOUT! She's sporting the pigtails! Here comes trouble!!
Heeheehee...i have been smiley all day long. I nearly made some poor sod fall off his bike on my way home from Tai Chi.
This is me:
-I am also happy because jared called me from a swing? in a loft? downtown? to let me know he's gleefully spinning records this evening. Hooray for doing the things you love.
-My appetite is back, and i went to the Upper Crust after class and thoroughly enjoyed a large slice of tomato basil thin crust nirvana....mmm....want more....
- i managed to pull of the ten zen moves i was missing in my repertoire and make everyone else laugh at my mastery of the Tao of Goofiness
-Thoughts of the one I love in colorado......
"Inch worm, inch worm,
measuring the marigolds
You and your arithmetic
will probably go far...."
I started my day at 9 in the morning, serenaded by a motley crue of batty six year olds singing this song, off kilter and beautiful. Crayons and and magic markers inspired us, and the fresh air from the playground, and the hope of green leaves brought in to prove the osmosis of yellow and blue. We found color on our hands, color on our papers, and color was in the disharmonious melodies that warm my soul.
Today is a wonderful day.
Sound for the evening:
"The world was on fire
No one could save me but you....
I never dreamed
That I'd meet somebody like you
I never dreamed
That I'd love somebody like you."
Chris Isaak
