Random movie trivia – Swingline didn’t make a red stapler until after Office Space, everyone was demanding them. The movie had 4 staplers that they painted red.
Are you sure, because I DEFINITELY have a red vintage swingline “cub”, circa early 1960′s, right on my desk here. I even have the old box of staples that goes with it. Found it when i was cleaning a storage room in an old school building. Looked it up and everything (did you know people actually *collect* staplers?). Maybe it’s rarer than i thought? So, hah! I will post a picture today.
I was watched Office Space “with flair” a couple of weeks ago, that’s what they said (Mike Judge?). Maybe they used to make them, didn’t for a while and brought them back after the movie?
