  • Alright, alright. Last thing today.
Between pauses to eat pudding, put a load in the dryer, or change some music around, i've spent the whole day on this:

A very crummy picture, mind you- my Nikon was out of juice- but nevertheless, here it is. A section of it anyway. The whole thing is on a 2' x4' board, done in acrylic (%#$!!) paint. I stareted around noon, and finished the last detail about a half hour ago.

The lady in the painting is the Babylonian goddess Inanna, aka ishtar, astarte, morning star, badass cranky biotch, etc. I'm not really into the mystical crystal mojo earth goddess sort of thing, but this chica caught my inspiration back in my senior year at school, when I took a course in middle eastern art. We have alot in common, you know, stuff like standing around on lions, having wings, bitching people out, destroying cities, being hot and sassy, good stuff like that.

Oh, and she and I have the same tat, too.
