(This is supposed to be a quirky magnet, by the way.)
Been awhile, hmm…
Anyway, I just renewed by subscription today, so rest assured, despite the occasional hiatus I will still be here. Whether or not I have totally alienated you, my dear readers.
I have some good excuses for my absence, details of which I’ll post later on. I’m a little rusty on the eloquence thing, so this might sound like a bunch of blathering on, until I get caught up and reorganized.
First of all, I’ve been busy organizing a massive art show for my students, which was extremely stressful. The opening was a pretty big success, and alot of important people from The Home came to see the artwork. They were impressed, my supervisor was impressed, the other teachers were impressed, and the kids had snacks and I had snacks and it was fun. Exhausting but fun. Pictures later.
Second of all, I’ve been helping Bryon in his studio. He’s getting ready to graduate, and has been busy with his architecture thesis. Later on I will pontificate on how proud/amazed / in love with him I am, but for now I’m just trying to do the best I can, and be there if he needs me. To, you know, bring cookies to his studio late at night.
Last of all, I’ve been to the doctor a whole bunch, trying to get myself in order. I won’t get into the details just yet, but I also don’t want anyone to freak out. I found a lump in my booby about a month ago, so I’ve been shuttling back and forth to various appointments to get the thing checked out. I’m supposed to have a biopsy this afternoon. I’ll find out what it is by wednesday, probably.
No freaking out! Do you hear me? I’ll be fine. And you’ll get lots of stuff to read about.
Meanwhile, a photo of me, taken with the new camera.

Good luck on the boob situation…I know how scary that can be. I woke up one morning last year to find my entire breast hard as a rock…it was horribly painful, and I was scared shitless. It turned out to be an abscess and I had to go to the doctor every week for a month to have half a cup of pus sucked out of me. So, I was actually really lucky! Try not to get too nervous; if it’s been a month and they haven’t taken it out yet, that’s probably a fairly good sign.
oh man. all my good vibes are going to your boobie.
sounds dirty, but it’s not (for once). i hope everything turns out good for you.
and that pic is stunning!
gawjuss photo!
Hope the boobela turns out to be no big deal, and wish Bryon good luck on his thesis.
