  • Progress on Fortune

Two new works-in-progress for the Good Luck/ Bad Luck project. it’s crunch time!

I got some new sharpies and a whole stack of blank 5×8 index cards at Staples. Now i can crank out the drawings in no time flat!
The simplest things make me ridiculously happy, hahaha.

Also; check out my new friend, Mr. Inchworm.

    Oh, hello.

The most photogenic inchworm in the world!

  • bahaa oh dude i had that plastic-ass charm necklace, in like, fifth or sixth grade.  maaan i remember the really cool girls, they had about a hundred of those little charms.  so jealous.  now i’m growed up and jealous of the dude’s tattoo, bahaa.

  • awesome – love the bingo drawing….one thing though: you forgot to draw a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. the heaviest chain-smokers in the world are bingo players!

  • nice!  where’d ya find the inchworm?

  • That IS a cute worm!!!!

  • @princess_smartypants - oh you know, he dropped out of a tree onto our porch and tried to mooch a beer.

@wherethefishlives - Oh, dayumn, you’re right. i’ll have to do that on the next one, hahaha.

@CrapeDiem - I LOVE that everybody who grew up in the 80′s gets all nostalgic over those things when they recognize them in my art.

  • I love the drawings.  I would like on painted onto one of my cafe table tops. It would look so cool.

Thank you for your words of wisdom.  I did an update, quoted your comment, and then decided not to enable comments.  Its all past its sell-by date now.

  • @SavonDuJour - Hey, next time I’m in the tropics, I’m your girl. I’ll be sure to bring some paintbrushes along with me, hahaha.

Seriously, that dude is a jackass. The internet brings out the worst in people sometimes, you just gotta pay mean people no mind, they’re a drag. : )

  • Yeah, I know, but yesterday I was in no mood to take sh*t and today I was just amused.  I have no idea why he hit on me, but really I should have just done what everyone told me, delete the comment and block him and so I’ve done that to his friends contributions!  I had hoped by not enabling comments it would end it but people just write on another blog.

I am actually thinking of mounting 2′ square hardboard (thin wood, I don’t know what you call it in American) on the tables, or else printing out giclees and varnishing them on, as there are several artists who I am friendly with online whose work I would enjoy in my cafe.  I have wonderful paintings on the walls from a local artist.  I wanted to post them on my site but I can’t find the cord for the camera I took the pics with.

When you come, you can use my paints!

  • I like your artwork.  The lady’s rabbit’s foot and troll made me laugh.

And, no, I did not think you were nosey.  If I wanted my blog to be private, I would’ve only let friends I know access my Xanga.  Thanks for stopping by!
