The rabbit and i had a bit of a frolic in the yard this morning. The weather has been gorgeous lately, and Ugmoe loves being outside. Romp romp romp. romp in the puddle, romp in the rain, romp in the grass, romp in the sun. I’ve managed to teach him NO and Come Inside Now, so it’s pretty easy to sit back and sip my tea while keeping watch. He never really wants to come in after playing in the yard, however, and will stare at the front door for a while afterwards looking wobegone or perplexed. Danged rabbit is obsessed with doors.
he also likes to hide in corners of the studio.

“Oh hai, i wuz jus halpin you with dis paintin’, k?”Oh, and check out my new owl friend:
I asked Matt to paint me a clock with an owl on it, since I am (as you might have noticed) a little obsessed with owls lately. I also like the yellow and grey color combo, so he did it in the colors i like. I think he’s going to live in the kitchen over the pantry door.
hoot! hoot!

owwwwwwwww! you kill me with photos of the wabbit!
oooooooooh bunny!
hmm, I’m actually a grwon up, but who cares
Ugmoe is an awesome name for a super cute rabbit.
do you worry about ugmoe scurrying away when he’s outside? or is he trustworthy so you don’t need to fret? we had a few traumatic dog/rabbit experiences in my youth so i would feel really panicky about letting a rabbit romp freely in the out-of-doors. totally my hang-up, though.
NICE clock, btw.
Hoot – says the owl. Ugmoe is so cute. Kaylee hates closed doors of any kind. She also loves to be outside, except she hates to get her paws wet or dirty.
Awww I wish I had a bunny, but my three-year-old would probably kill it.
doooood, love me some owls. i’ve got a nice little collection. that & shroooooms.
i love the pictures you post of ugmoe, he’s adorable, and yet i can see the tyrant in him.
that rabbit is like a real-life cartoon. so funny.
@princess_smartypants - Yeah, he knows the rules pretty well by now. I don’t let him out of my sight and i always have my eyes peeled for dogs, and i don’t let him more than ten feet away from me. He knows when he’s wandered too far, and if i say HEY and remind him, he comes right back.
@BoureeMusique - The rabbit sleeps under our bed every night, but he has a hissy fit if the bedroom door is closed too far. I dunno if we have him trained or it’s the other way around. : )
@Mudban - Thanks! He is pretty much the boss of us. We have no say.
I’m pretty sure that the similarities between Ugmoe and Relaxolgy IRL is uncanny.
Btw don’t tell Relaxolgy I said that.
