• Nerd-karma

  As a followup to this post, I did a little research into the payscale of geeks-on-call, particularly those who nerd-guru at non-profits (figured I'd at least check the lowest common denominator).  Apparently I'm due some pretty serious quantities of positive karma, or else some pretty large quantities of backpaid  jing. Like, the thirty grand plus in karmic jing that i'm saving my program annually, thanks very much. Granted, I'm not certified, but I'm clever, experienced, and computers fear & respect  me. And you know i'm bringing it up in my performance evaluation today. Not that i'm complaining, I like helping the Little Wanderers, and i like teaching my colleagues to check their email and defrag their hard drives...... but daymn.
