  • Cantu

Last night i ventured out in pigtails, and we all know what that
means. I'm by myself, but not feeling lonely, and I liked all the the
interesting faces on the B Line at night as it rumbled out to Allston.
At the Paradise lounge I found Amelia, Tim, John, and Jason, and pulled
up a tall chair to listen to some good music. There was a girl called
Rachel Cantu with a guitar. I  thought her name might have been
"Can, Too", which seemed to fit with the theme of the evening. Defiant
and capable!  i felt all warm and thoughtful listening to her
song, thinking a little bit about Ohio- nine days till I fly. There
was also One Ring Zero, a crazy band which sounds like Klesmer crossed
with a Lemony Snicket tome, and after the show i was feeling brave so i
told the guy who was playing the theramin that i thought he was teh
shexay. I also winked at some guy at the bar, I think, and flirted with
somebody over short stories and salt. Like i said, i blame the pigtails.

Here is a picture of me which i took yesterday:

edit: apparently the wink was a
catalyst. I just got an email from 'Melia, and apparently the winkee
(Bah! hahaha!) found the contact info for her dance troupe, sought out
her address info, and sent her a message with the ulterior motive of
finding out about me. Bah! hahaha. Pigtails, i'm telling you.

  • You realize this is completely unfair, as us guys don't look good, not even a little, in pigtails. What happened to equality I ask you!?

  • hahha...  shame on you, using the power of Moxie on mere mortal men.  Great pic, you have teh lurvely eyes.  Woe is the winkee's.  :)

  • Heh sounds like fun. :) Hope you're having fun winking at someone special this weekend. ;o) Played you guys a song on the radio last night!

    Best wishes to you both!
