Leftover Chocolate and Cloud-Machines
Haven't been feeling very blogtastic lately. Which is funny, because there has been a bit to write about. Here is the cliff notes-version:
1. We went to Target on Halloween night, Bry bought a dvd player, I bought The Ring on DVD, amd we proceeded to eat chocolate and scare ourselves silly on the couch. It was good.
2. We planned on driving to Amherst on Saturday, but there was a big emo bruhahah going on, so we went to poke at the robots at the MIT museum instead. I was still mopey, but I was psyched to see Arthur Ganson's mechanical sculptures. There was one that was made out of teeny wires and string, and it looked like a wire cloud with threadlike gears. And it had buttons you could push, which makes it good art, yeah. We also had good samosas down the street. Further proof that I need to leave JP more frequently.
3. The emo bruhaha was still continuing the next day, but brunch at the Spring Street cafe with the Chestnut Ave crew and chocolate pancakes smoothed things over. I was going to go to the zoo and draw animals (since franklin park is near my house) but it started raining. I am not keen on wet monkeys. Although I did hang out with nick later on, who might qualify as a damp marsupial. Some things were resolved, and I got a really awesome hug. Then I came home and got mad. I don't really remember about what, but it was terrible. Bad Annie.
4. Monday was a monday. I was late to work, and my boss was being hissy at me for not handing in some paperwork on Friday. The powers that be can bite me, jerks, because i was the only teacher that helped out with the kids' halloween party on friday night. I was busy helping everyone make decorations and use the camera, not to mention my usual art-teacher school stuff. Grr.
5. Yeah, Tuesday. Yawn. Nothing profound happens on Tuesday.
